More about T1 The T1 document is used mainly when moving non-EU (non-Community) goods. Such goods are those not manufactured or obtained within the customs territory of the European Union, as well as products from a third country that have not yet been released for free circulation within the Community. T1 is also used when EU goods are exported to a Common Transit country, i.e. an EFTA country (Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland).
